Jake Lyon is filming a documentary about Digable Planets and this is some of the footage of them on tour in the northwest recently. The Rise and Fall and Eventual Return of The Insects from Sector Six is a work in progress and it will be interesting to hear about their much too short career and the absence of Ladybug Mecca. Thankfully they have maintained a good touring schedule and stageshows that are fun and solid. MC Lady Madarocka is their new female rapper but the altered state the band went into after Blowout Comb was just as depressing as the end of The Fugees and Lauryn Hill. It would be nice to hear the three original insects do a new album.
