On July 23rd, 2010 the city of Los Angeles was blessed with a FREE concert of the Miguel Atwood-Ferguson ensemble. For this special evening, Miguel assembled an all-star cast of musicians and special guests including Flying Lotus, Aloe Blacc, Chris ‘Daddy’ Dave, Stephen ‘Thundercat’ Bruner and Bilal. Miguel has gained recognition as of late for his work on Mochilla’s “Suite for Ma Duke” project, where he arranged and conducted music of the late J. Dilla for a full orchestra.
Bilal’s Airtight’s Revenge will be released on September 14th on Plug Research.
