Brooklyn Bodega has teamed up with The J Dilla Foundation for the 2010 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival
On July 6th as part of BHF ’10 Week, Brooklyn Bodega and The J Dilla Foundation present the Bodega Education Initiative (BEI), which will celebrate the legacy of J Dilla.
The event will be hosted by the Brooklyn Historical Society.
Panelists will include Hip-Hop legend Q-Tip, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, DJ Spinna and more.

The Whole Story: One-on-one discussion with Ma Dukes Yancey and Q-Tip.
Workshop: An in depth technical and musical analysis of Dilla’s production led by Berklee School of Music Instructor Raydar Ellis. Open to all ages. Professionals and amateurs.
Roundtable: Discussion with Dilla’s peers and longtime collaborators.
Learning from Dilla’s Mistakes: Entrepreneurship in Hip-Hop. Discussion on methods to mediate the space between art and business.
