Question: What happens when Los Angeles’ top event hosts decide to combine their talents, databases and resources? Answer: A live, fresh, new perspective for Los Angeles’ night lifers.
Kevin Rouse, CEO of Personal Touch Entertainment and Pernell Clark, founder of The Impresario Group are joining forces to change the paradigm of evening entertainment on Satuday, November 14th, 2009 as they unveil “LA Nights…On the Terrace” at the Bonaventure Brewing Company inside of the fabulous Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Festivities start at 7:30 p.m. with a variety show presentation that includes not only dining and drink specials, but also live music, comedy and dancing. The Bonaventure Hotel is located at 404 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles with underground valet parking available on the Flower Street entrance.
With over two decades of experience between them, both Rouse and Clark know how to throw a party ! Rouse is best known for the former Ten20 Night Scene and the Brasserie on the Sunset Strip which he booked for years, in addition to several hot spots in the Bay Area. He also currently hosts and promotes jazz nights at the historic Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Clark is the creator of the “An All Black Affair,” “The City of Angels Masquerade Ball” and both annual “Winter and Summer Soltice” events. His “Black Men Speak” and “Black Men and Women Speak” events have been widely heralded for generating dialogue and healing between the sexes.
“LA Nights…On the Terrace” is a collaborative vision shared by the two in an effort to not only elevate the Los Angeles night life experience but also provide a progressive realm for professionals seeking to unwind and relax at an affordable price. Scheduled to take place once a month, the venue may change but the quality will remain the same. The Heavy Hitters Comedy Hour will rock the room and new talent DASHA will offer vocal stylings, while the adventurous sounds of The 11 O’clock News Band featuring Billy John will provide the musical backdrop for the evening. The Clever Band, Jacques Lesure and Charles Chazzy Green are just a sampling of the talents, along with surprise celebrity guests planned for future dates.
Attendance is $10 before 9:00 p.m. with RSVP or $15 without RSVP. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit Brother to Brother, a city wide mentoring program for at risk, inner city kids. For additional information, contact kevinarouse@msn.com and /or nellsomerset@earthlink.net .
