’s 30 Under 30 Online Fan Poll Reveals Chris Brown Could Still Rank Number One Despite Tribulations



(New York, NY) October 09, 2009, — Who holds the illustrious title of being music’s top artist Under 30? Singersroom called on R&B fans worldwide to vote for the best male R&B artist under 30 and after thirty days of clicking and ongoing debates on Singersroom and Twitter, fans declared Chris Brown the winner of the Singersroom 30 Under 30 competition. Despite Brown’s personal tribulations, an overwhelming majority of fans still support him as an artist that impacts music, fashion and culture.

Throughout the competition artist battled for leading positions, initially Trey Songz was in second until he was oust by Jay Sean, and Lloyd rallied at the end of the competition to land in the middle of the pack. Up-and-coming artist Jaiden and McKnight (Archie & BJ&) proved to be stiff competition for the major signed artist.

The 30 Under 30 competition provided an opportunity for fans to let artists know why they appreciated their work with comments like:
