Jay-Z just scored his tenth number one album beating Elvis’s record of nine. Coincidentally he is battling on the charts with The Beatles who have nineteen number one albums making them the champions. But people must remember The Beatles have two dead members which always boosts sales and they are a group. So as far as a singular performer is concerned Jay is officially The King. Culturally speaking it means that Black music rules the world especially considering the fact that The Beatles wanted to sing like Little Richard and Elvis’s whole act was modeled after Black people. Michael Jackson would be proud.
