Vibe Media Group Launches New Print And Web Tabloid Properties: The Most! And TheMostmag.com
(June 8, 2009 – New York City) VIBE Media Group has put another stake in the ground as the definitive voice of urban culture with the launch of its new tabloid property, THE MOST!. True to the brand’s motto: All Up In the Bizness, THE MOST! will fill a void on national newsstands by reflecting VIBE’s commitment to urban style, celebrity, beauty, and culture through a tabloid-themed publication. It will feature THE MOST of everything including THE MOST! Hype, THE MOST! Buzz, THE MOST! Style, THE MOST! News, and more. It’s a lifestyle and celebrity magazine featuring some of the most trendsetting stars in the world, THE MOST! is “urban” with pride and mega style. Featured on the cover of the premiere issue is one of hip hop’s most talked about couples – Nas and Kelis.
In the cover story, THE MOST! unveils the exclusive inside scoop behind their recent shocking divorce announcement after eight years together. Insiders tell THE MOST! that the couple has reportedly been weathering marital problems for quite some time. “One minute he’s very warm, loving, and endearing; the next minute he says horrible things for absolutely no reason.” According to the same source, last fall, while the couple was at a London nightclub, there was a wild incident. Similar in design to The MOST!, the January 2009 issue featuring Chris Brown and Rihanna has been one of the highest-selling issues to date for 2009 for VIBE Media Group, with the January 2008 issue featuring Kanye West experiencing parallel success.
