Asher Roth, the Morrisville, PA-born star, is heading out on his first headlining US tour this July alongside fellow peer and Universal Motown labelmate Kid Cudi. Titling their crusade The Great Hangover Tour, Roth & Cudi are teaming up with B.O.B, 88 Keys, and Pac Div for a 19-date cross-country tour kicking off July 14th in Boston.
Roth’s recently released debut album Asleep In The Bread Aisle (SchoolBoy/LOUD/SRC/Universal) has brought massive attention from the likes of Rolling Stone, Spin, Playboy, Vibe, and earned him the distinction of the second white rapper ever to grace the cover of XXL (December 08), along with the #1 spot on the iTunes album chart for 8 straight days. His handful of live performances over the past year have included appearances on the Jimmy Kimmel Live summer concert stage and most recently the Jimmy Fallon show, backed by heroes The Roots. The Great Hangover Tour will be Asher’s first opportunity to bring his talent to the public at large and show the world what those who have seen him already know…Asher Roth has skills and then some.
