This summer Leslie will be able to show her fans how to balance beauty and her ability to be a competitor, when she tapes in the Bahamas April 18th -May 4th, ABC’s upcoming show “Superstars.â€
“Superstars†2009 athletes Terrell Owens, Tony Gonzalez, Georges St. Pierre, Jennifer Carpriatti and four-time Olympic Gold Medalist Lisa Leslie along side celebrities Julio Inglesias Jr, Tyson Beckford, Sisqo and Ali Landry will compete with one another to become the champion in this year “Superstar†show.
Juma Entertainment and Blue Entertainment Sports TV will produce “Superstars†featuring pairing of celebrities and athletes with one pair being eliminated each week.
“Superstars†is a sports competition that pits elite athletes from different sports and celebrities paired against one another in a series of athletic events resembling a decathlon. Competitors participate in ten different sporting events, including but not limited to the 100 yard dash, 800 meters run, obstacle course, weightlifting, bowling, rowing, tennis, bicycle racing, basketball, and swimming. “The Superstars†was first aired in 1973 by ABC Sports and had heavyweight champion boxer, Joe Frazier and in 1987 had winner Hershel Walker as a competitor.
