James Gandolfini is set to produce and co-star in the Marvin Gaye film biography “Sexual Healing.” No. He won’t play Gaye.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gandolfini would play Gaye’s manager Freddy Cousaert in the film, which looks at the singer’s final years.
Lauren Goodman is directing the film from a script she based on Steven Turner’s book “Trouble Man.”
