Big Boi: Doin It Featuring Sleepy Brown Official Video

A few days after performing at Super Bowl LIII, Big Boi releases his new single “Doin’ It” featuring Sleepy Brown. The longtime friends and collaborators have worked together again and this song is about maintaining long-term relationships. Big Boi’s wife Sherlita Patton, who inspired the song, appears in the video along with puppies from his beloved bulldog breed. The other half of Outkast has also announced the 2019 Dungeon Family Tour with Sleepy Brown, Organized Noize, Goodie Mob and KP The Great. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 8th. 


Watch: Andre 3000 In Trailer For High Life

Andre 3000 is part of the cast for Claire Dennis’ science fiction drama High Life. The rapper and actor is one of the inmates promised freedom if they will go a mission to a black hole for the purpose of capturing an alternate source of energy. In the process of completing the task, the inmates are victims of sexual experimentation by the scientists onboard the spacecraft. High Life debuted at the Toronto Internation Film Festival in September. The film will have its theatrical release in France November 7th and has a 2019 release date in the United States. 


Watch: Big Boi’s Tiny Desk Concert

Big Boi brought Sleepy Brown and his band to perform a three-song set for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts. He led live versions of Outkast’s “So Fresh So Clean,” “The Way You Move” and his “All Night” from his solo catalog. Their almost 13-minute performance with the musicians, singer and DJ Cutmaster Swift made the room appear larger. Big Boi is on the road with Christina Aguilera for The Liberation Tour.
