ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay? Netflix Official Trailer

It was 16 years ago when Jam Master Jay was fatally shot inside a studio in Jamaica, Queens. The murder of the DJ who provided the sounds for legendary rap group Run-D.M.C. was never solved and conflicting rumors about it continue to grow. ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay? is a Netflix documentary about his life and death. The documentary is Track three of the eight-part ReMastered series created by Jeff and Michael Zimbalist. The episode will premiere December 7, 2018 on Netflix.

Watch: Trailer For Netflix Documentary Quincy

Quincy Jones’ six-decade career and life is the subject of the Netflix documentary Quincy. Jones’ career is unparalleled from his early days as a bandleader of one the world’s greatest jazz bands to his entry into pop culture as the producer of Michael Jackson’s biggest albums. The former trumpet player has produced, written and arranged for the most prominent artists across the genres and crafted numerous soundtracks and television theme songs. His daughter Rashida Jones and Alan Hicks co-directed the film. Quincy was screened at The Toronto Film Festival this past Sunday and will be available on Netflix September 21st.

Watch: Rakim Perform King’s Paradise For Season 2 Of Luke Cage

Luke Cage’s second season premiered on Netflix today. In this clip, Rakim performs “King’s Paradise’ for the crowd at the Harlem Paradise club. Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad produced the song that is one of the season’s surprises. Rakim was also included in the will.i.am and Marvel comic book Masters Of The Sun last year.
