Beyonce’s Coachella Performance

Beyonce made history last night as the first Black woman to headline Coachella. Her two and a half hour set included a tribute to HBCU’s marching bands, appearances from Jay-Z, Solange, a couple modern dancing and a new reunion with Destiny’s Child. Her blistering performance has many calling the festival Beychella. The whole night that required 11-hour rehearsals is just the beginning of her tour schedule because she and Jay-Z will hit the road with On The Run II this summer. 


David Letterman Interviews Jay-Z For His Netflix Show

 Jay-Z is David Letterman’s guest on the next episode of his Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. In this clip from Letterman’s interview with Jay-Z, the hip-hop mogul talks about the elements of a good rapper. He mentions the appeal of having a great voice like Snoop Dogg and Eminem’s syncopated percussive style of rapping. The episode will stream on Netflix April 6th. 


Jay-Z & Beyoncé To Kick Off On The Run II Tour This Summer

 Beyonce’s Instagram account posted a trailer today confirming the On The Run II Tour with Jay-Z. The first show is in the U.K. and they will tour Europe before returning to America where the last date will take place in Canada. Pre-sale tickets will be available March 14th and the regular sale starts March 19th.
