HXLT-Work It Out Official Video

HXLT decides in his video for “Work It Out” that the only way to resolve a troublesome relationship is to end it. In the video,  he has a small signifier from his days of rapping as Hollywood Holt when you see him grab his chain on the way out of the apartment. The G.O.O.D. Music artist saw his punk debut album come out earlier this year.

HXLT is a punk singer from Chicago and new G.O.O.D. Music signee. His self-directed video for “Sick” is an act of time traveling through different eras of pop culture with each jump through a window. There is also a tribute to the late Chicago DJ,TIMBUK2, who was also a personal friend. HXLT’s  eponymous debut album is mostly self-produced and reflects his hip-hop and indie rock roots. “Sick” is one of three songs you can preview before the album is released on February 26th.
