Gza made his Tiny Desk Concert debut with three songs from his ’90s classic Liquid Swords. He was joined by New Orleans brass band The Soul Rebels and they performed “Living In The World Today,” “Duel Of The Iron Mic” and “Liquid Swords.” The band and Gza’s words were an unexpected match and their sound turned the space into a bigger room.

Mocky feat. GZA – ‘Birds Of A Feather’ out on Crammed Discs
Watch the first ‘Mockumentary’ here (feat. contributions from Gonzales, Feist, Jamie Lidell & Taylor Savvy):
“Mocky has a reputation for surprising people with his music”, ran the first line of the biography for “Saskamodie”, Mocky’s sublime debut album for Crammed Discs … and sure enough, the man also responsible for producing and playing all over classic albums from Feist, Jamie Lidell and Gonzales is at it again: this time with one of the world’s greatest living rappers – GZA, no less, from the mighty Wu-Tang Clan – in tow.
