GoldLink Has Tiny Desk Concert & Got Friends Single With Miguel

GoldLink is keeping busy after having a featured appearance on Christina Aguilera’s “Like I Do.” Today he debuted a new single Miguel and a Tiny Desk concert. The DMV native and the R&B singer collaborated on “Got Friends” which is an ode to pretty women produced by The Stereotypes. GoldLink’s performed four songs with a six-piece band and two singers for his NPR concert. This summer he is celebrating his success with Three Nights On U Street, a mini-concert series of three shows at U Street Music Hall in his hometown of D.C. 






GoldLink Makes Late Night Television Debut On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

GoldLink made his late night television debut on The Tonight Show with a performance of “Crew” with Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy. The DMV rapper’s first album At What Cost came out earlier this year and “Crew” has given him a Billboard presence. Follow is a short film of his time in Los Angeles for the At What Cost tour.


VanJess & GoldLink Collaborate On Through Enough

VanJess has already followed-up  “Favor” with “Through Enough” that has a feature from DMV rapper GoldLink. Lophiile produced the trance-inducing beat as the sisters sing about using caution in the pursuit of love. “Through Enough” will be heard on the season two soundtrack of HBO’s Insecure.


GoldLink Releases Crew Remixes EP & Video For Meditation Feat. Jazmine Sullivan & Kaytranada

GoldLink released his Crew Remixes EP last week and today he has a video for “Meditation” featuring Jazmine Sullivan and Kaytranada from his At What Cost album. The video features GoldLink and his would-be love interest surrounded by people at a party. The woman is there with someone else as Jazmine Sullivan sings her part in the center of the frame. GoldLink will start his 31-show tour of North American on September 3rd and tickets are on sale now.



GoldLink Releases At What Cost (Album Stream)

GoldLink’s At What Cost is out now and Kaytranada, Shy Glizzy and Wale are among the guest appearances on the album. As far as the inspiration behind the project he explains,

“I made At What Cost as an ode to my hometown. It’s about the essence of Go-Go and how it’s shaped the city and where I am from, the people, the attitude. I don’t want gentrification to overlook what Go-Go has done and how it’s shaped the city.”
