The trailer for Atlanta’s second season is based around the theme of robbery and the cast looks worried about the next events. There are very few details other than the word robbery which makes the trailer intriguing and creates anticipation for the new season. Atlanta returns for Season 2 on March 1st.

Donald Glover Cast As Simba In The Live-Action Remake Of The Lion King

Donald Glover has been cast as Simba in Jon Favreau’s live-action remake of The Lion King. Simba is the lion who will be king after succeeding his father Mufasa voiced by James Earl Jones who was the character in the 1994 original film.

The rest of the cast has not been announced but Glover has a busy year ahead with his role as Lando Calrissian in the Hans Solo Star Wars movie and a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Fans will be eager to see him back on his Atlanta TV show after the absence because of his filming schedule.


Donald Glover’s Atlanta Will Return In 2018

The second season of Donald Glover’s Atlanta TV show has been delayed until 2018 because of his production schedule. Glover is scheduled to play Lando Clarissian in an upcoming Star Wars movie and he will not have time to film the movie and the TV show. He just signed a production deal with FX to develop more shows in the future.
