Stass THEE Boss just released her Voices album and it is a reinterpretation of the gospel world. She takes sounds from church and reshapes them into songs that almost neatly fall into the landscape of deep house. The mostly instrumental nine songs are contemplative and dance-worthy at the same time.

Carleen Anderson Announces Live Dates In The UK For Cage Street Memorial Performances

Carleen Anderson has announced live dates for the performance of her Cage Street Memorial-The Pilgrimage album in the UK. It is her seventh solo album and it is a mix of opera, jazz, soul, gospel and classical chamber music. See the dates below and listen to a preview of the show.

Anderson.Paak Performs Come Down With Gospel Choir

Anderson.paak started his career as a church drummer and he returns to that place to perform “Come Down” with a gospel choir. The performance is part of The Recording Academy’s Believe In Music campaign. There are cameo appearances from paak’s son Soul and his sister Camille. Anderson.paak has two Grammy nominations and will perform with A Tribe Called Quest whose album he also worked on, at the ceremony.
