Beyoncé Releases Black Is King Visual Album

Beyoncé’s Black Is King visual album came out today. The music takes direction from The Lion King: The Gift Beyoncé recorded for Disney’s live-action remake of the original movie. Beyoncé wrote, directed and produced the album that seeks to acclimate The Lion King story for contemporary audiences and celebrate Blackness. It was filmed in Los Angeles, New York, West Africa, South Africa, Belgium and London. The video for “Already” came out before Black Is King and it follows the release of “BLACK PARADE” which was a tribute to Juneteenth and is also in the film. Stream Black Is King via the Disney+
