The Urban Renewal Project is a 16 piece collective of musicians based in Los Angeles. They strive to pay tribute to the Golden Era of hip-hop with live instrumentation and vocals. “Shake Those Hips” is their new single and it has verses from longtime collaborator Elmer Demond, Slim da Reazon and Yung Jinga. The sound is reminiscent of Go-go and ’90s hip-hop and it’s evident that the band is having fun. “Shake Those Hips” will be on the band’s forthcoming EP slated for release later this year.
