Thundercat Scheduled For Blue Note Residency In New York


Thundercat is preparing for a six-night residency at the Blue Note jazz club in New York City from February 12-17th. He will have different guests nightly to join him onstage for the 14 shows. The bass player and songwriter is one of the artists featured on the Brainfeeder X compilation released at the end of 2018. Tickets for the Blue Note shows are on sale now. 



Earl Sweatshirt Collaborates With Terrence Nance On Short Film

Earl Sweatshirt has worked with award-winning filmmaker Terrence Nance and Naima Ramos Chapman on the film Nowhere, Nobody. Nance directed the HBO late-night series Random Acts Of FlynessThe short is a companion to Sweatshirt’s new album Some Rap Songs, which is his first project since his sophomore album I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside in 2015. The artist is going on a tour of North America in March that will start in New Orleans at the BUKU Festival and will end May 6th in Atlanta.
