Kid Koala & Trixie Whitley Meet Again For Hera’s Song & Video For Lost At Sea

Kid Koala and Trixie Whitley share another collaboration from Koala’s Music To Draw To Io: with the single “Hera’s Song.” The sparse dystopian track features Whitley’s forlorn vocals, a controlled cacophony and then silence. According to Koala, the ambient sounds of the new album are intended to give the listener room to hear their own ideas. There is also a video for “Lost At Sea” that also pushes the idea of self-reflection for the listener. Music To Draw To: Io officially comes out January 25th.

Toro y Moi Releases Outer Peace (Album Stream)

Toro y Moi’s Outer Peace came out two days ago and the album’s quirky funk designs offers warm relaxation especially for the fans currently experiencing winter. It is his sixth studio album and there are moments when the sound strays from funk and enters pop and even a exposes a little bit of trap’s influence. Moi said the title references the idea that peace is usually within but much harder to have on the outside. Toro y Moi tour dates resume Wednesday night in Houston.
