Janet Jackson is among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2019 class. Jackson will join Radiohead, The Cure, Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, Roxy Music and The Zombies for the induction ceremony March 29th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Artists are eligible for the honor 25 years after the release of their first album or single. This was the third time Jackson had been nominated with previous considerations in 2016 and 2017. Jackson expressed her gratitude in a statement by thanking the hall of fame. Her brothers were inducted into the hall as The Jackson 5 in 1997. The 2019 ceremony will air on HBO at a later date alongside a SiriusXM radio broadcast.
