Little Simz Has Lyric Video For Offence

Little Simz returns after the release of her Stillness In Wonderland debut two years ago with a lyric video for new single “Offence.” Her words are all over the frame against a black and white photo she took of four young people. She is excited to share her new music and to let her fans know how happy she is to be living out her dream. The U.K. rapper discussed “Offence” in an interview with Zane Lowe.  


Shabazz Palaces: Quazarz On 23rd Official Video

 Shabazz Palaces’ released the video for “Quazarz On 23rd” today. The spiritual storyline is written and directed by Nep Sidhu who also provided the artwork. The short film is a poetic adventure highlighting ritual, colors, textures and community. Quazarz: Born On A Gangster Star and Quarzarz vs. The Jealous Machines were released in 2017. Shabazz Palaces is currently on tour and they have some dates with Lauryn Hill. 


Congresswoman Maxine Waters Taps YBN Cordae as Youth Leader to Raise Voter Awareness

On Friday, September 14th, representative Maxine Waters celebrated hip-hop culture at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 48th annual Legislative Conference and welcomed YBN Cordae to join Common and others on the Young, Gifted And Black panel. The panel was put together to raise voter awareness, particularly young people and Waters chose to be a community leader to speak about the importance of voting in November’s election. 

YBN talked about his talents and did a freestyle about people dealing with economic pressure and praise for Maxine Waters. 

YBN most recently appeared on YBN: The Mixtape with fellow crew members YBN Nahmir and YBN Almighty Jay.
