I've been in the studio working on new music and was excited to share a little bit with you all. I had a year of so many ups and downs and have come out the other side with a renewed spirit and a fresh perspective. I'm entering my next chapter with an open mind and heart. ONLY LOVE is where I am right now and I couldn't keep it to myself any longer!!! @sisterlovemjb #sisterlove #queenhoops #onlylove 🔗 in bio
Mary J. Blige’s “Only Love” surprised fans and reiterated her tireless work ethic all over again. The uptempo song uses First Choice’s “Doctor Love” and the disco vibe takes over. It’s not the first time Blige and Philadelphia’s First Choice were together in the same sentence as she covered “Let No Man Put Asunder” on her Mary album. “Only Love” sounds like a celebration of a new romance and it is a change from Strength Of A Woman which was about her difficult divorce. According to her Instagram post, “Only Love” marks a new beginning.
