Lenny Kravitz Wants A Better World In Video For It’s Enough

Lenny Kravitz puts the world’s problems on trial in his video for “It’s Enough.” Racism, women’s rights, religious prejudice and police brutality is represented in footage of the people’s struggles from around the globe. Kravitz’s upcoming album, Raise Vibration has a direct message about his feelings on the way the world needs to evolve. He streamed the video for “It’s Enough” live on Facebook and said this about it:

“People are standing up I’ve had enough of racism. I’ve had enough of war. I’ve had enough of the destruction of the environment and the greed and dishonesty of world leaders. We’ve got to get back on track toward moving forward through higher understanding.”

Raise Vibration is Kravitz’s 11th studio and it will officially be released on September 9th but is available for pre-order.

Watch: Spike Lee’s The BlacKkKlansman Official Trailer

The trailer for Spike Lee’s The Black KkKlansman features John David Washington in his role as detective Ron Stallworth who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan as a Black man. The movie is based on the book Black Klansman Stallworth wrote detailing his experiences as the first African-American detective on the Colorado Springs Police Department. It is a comedy-drama and the trailer’s funniest scene is when Washington reenacts Stallworth’s initial phone call to KKK Grand Wizard David Duke. The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Monday night and received a six-minute standing ovation. Critics are calling Lee’s new film his best in a long time. The Black KkKlansman opens in theaters August 10th.
