Jules Rendell Shares Visuals For The Return

Jules Rendell debuted her first solo album this year after introducing herself with the 2013 Lotusbloom EP. Audiences heard a soulful jazz sound from the Birmingham, England native who calls London her home. “The Return” is from her new Imagine album and the video features Rendell and friends outside making abstract poses. On Imagine she incorporates more pop sounds into the music but never strays far from R&B.  Of “The Return” she says,

‘We spend our lives worrying about things that don’t really matter. We chase after success, value achievement, and stature, but it’s a trap that can tie us up. I think love is what can free us from all of that stuff – I long for that resting place of acceptance.”
