The Suffers are paying tribute to Mother’s Day in their video for “Mammas.” A variety of mothers and daughters spend their day together and celebrate their relationships. The video comes just in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday. The Suffers next album Everything Here comes out July 18th.

Kaytranada remixes The Internet’s infectious “Roll (Burbank Funk)” with P-Funk keyboards, Patrick Paige’s submerged bassline and Syd and Steve Lacy’s voices in acapella mode. Both versions are ideal for roller rink excursions, summer parties and electric slide marathons. Kaytranada leaves more room between each sound and lets Syd’s heavy breaths fade out at the end.
Boots Riley, the director of Sorry To Bother You, and the cast discuss the movie and its connection to Oakland, California in this one-minute clip. Riley, who is usually referred to as the founder of political rap group The Coup, explains how the movie is informed by dark comedy, magical realism and science fiction. The movie’s plot focuses on telemarketer Cassius Green played by Lakeith Stanfield who is based in Oakland and the sacrifices he makes to become successful. Tessa Thompson, Terry Crews, Omari Hardwick and Danny Glover have roles in the feature that hits theaters July 6th.
