The Brothers Footman Want A Lil’ Mo Time (Official Video)

 The Brothers Footman is a quartet of siblings from Indiana who grew up together making music.”Lil Mo Time” is their first single and video and it is a straightforward request inspired by the fact that most people never get enough moments with their loved ones. They resist a strict genre placement with a style influenced by pop, R&B and country to create their original midwestern charm. The group is on a nationwide tour that kicked off at Rev Indy this past weekend and will continue through the summer.

Childish Gambino Gives Commentary In This Is America Video

Donald Glover hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and Childish Gambino was the musical guest. Glover previously said that he would retire his Gambino persona but he has re-emerged with the single “This Is America.” He performed the song on the show and debuted the video online. The video looks at senseless violence in America and has sparked several discussions because of the graphic images.

Emaé Drops New Single Away From Here Before Her Debut Album Release

Scottish singer emaé returns with “Away From Here”  before the June release of her debut album Old Heart. emaé emerged with her acoustic polished pop three years with the song “Something Beautiful.” She garnered international critical acclaim for her first single and the Imperfect Words EP followed in 2016. “Away From Here” is about taking a once in a lifetime journey as she explains: 

“For me, ‘Away From Here’ is a reminder to keep on keeping on. It was one of my favorite songs to record on the album because for the longest time, we struggled on the production. It wasn’t right. Then one night it all just fell into place and felt perfect. And that’s what the song is about—being on that road and staying on it till you find what you’re looking for because you know it’s out there.”

Netflix Releases Official Trailer For Season 2 Of Luke Cage

Netflix releases the trailer for Season 2 of Marvel’s Luke Cage. The hero returns only to find out he has to fight Bushmaster a new formidable villain with supernatural powers to save Harlem from evil. Alfre Woodard, Gary Clark Jr., Misty Knight, Clarie Temple and Bobby Fish. The eight-episode season has titles from Pete Rock & CL Smooth songs. Luke Cage’s second season begins June 22nd on Netflix.
