The Suffers Sign To Shanachie And Release New Single Do Whatever

The Suffers have taken their Houston-bred soul music to Shanachie Entertainment for their debut album Everything Here. The under the radar band had their first major appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman in 2015. They have toured internationally extensively since their 2011 formation and are ready for the release of their second album Everything Here. The new music is 15 original songs with special appearances from their Houston neighbors Paul Wall and Bun B. Guitarist Kevin Bernier says,

“Everything Here, as a whole, explores the many aspects of who we are as people through songs. We’ve had crushes on people, we’ve had our hearts broken, and we’ve moved through all the difficult times so that we can experience the joyful moments.”

Do Whatever” is from Everything Here and it epitomizes the complexity of the Gulf Coast soul sound coming from many sources that the band claims. Shanachie Entertainment will release Everything Here on July 13th.
