Jimi Hendrix’s Both Sides Of The Sky Has A New Video For Lover Man

Jimi Hendrix’s Both Sides Of The Sky came out today as well as a new video for “Lover Man.” The album is the latest posthumous release from his estate and it has 10 never heard songs from Hendrix including “Jungle” and “Cherokee Mist.” This version of “Lover Man” was recorded at New York’s Record Plant studio in 1969 with the Band Of Gypsys. The session took place before their famous concert at The Fillmore East that was used for the first Band Of Gypsys album. The video for “Lover Man” consists of old footage of Hendrix, photos, and home movies. On March 13th, some of the Experience Hendrix band members will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
