The couple in the video has been reduced to a catatonic state because their faces are glued to their phone screens. They sit next to each other but cannot interact because they have their phones in hand. Black Milk appears as zombie pizza delivery man and the whole thing ends with a warning about the president.
CeeLo Green’s “Brick City” is a boastful story about the life of an independent drug dealer. The kitchen is the place where the product is created and in Green’s words, the seller will never be without money again. Green’s last album was the 2015 Heart Blanche. “Brick City” is leading the way for CeeLo Green to announce his next album.
Meshell Ndegeocello’s cover of TLC’s “Waterfalls” is a ruminative meditation. The video gives the warning to beware of slippery mirages with a line of people who successively follow an illusion and then fall. “Waterfalls” is one of the many songs Ndegeocello interpret on her forthcoming Ventriloquism album.
