DJ Aktive: 90’s Love Featuring Marsha Ambrosius Official Video

DJ Aktive’s video for “90’s Love” featuring Marsha Ambrosius is a hip-hop love letter to the era set in his Philadelphia hometown. Ambrosius is the camera’s main focus until shots of the city take the center. Record shopping and styles from the ’90s pass by the screen and DJ Aktive also gets into the frame. His debut EP, The Tour, will come out in the spring of 2018.

Meshell Ndegeocello Covers Tender Love

Meshell Ndegeocello’s Ventriloquism is an upcoming album of cover songs from Prince, Janet Jackson, Sade, George Clinton and more. Her interpretation of The Force MD’s “Tender Love” is rustic and sweet. Ventriloquism comes out March 16th and can be pre-ordered.

Watch: Kendrick Lamar, U2, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Childish Gambino & Sza Perform At The Grammys

Kendrick Lamar opened The Grammys’ with U2 and a medley of “XXX,” “DNA” and “King’s Dead” that had brief breaks with words from Dave Chappelle. He took home Grammys for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Performance with Rihanna, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album. Bruno Mars performed “Finesse” with Cardi B and he also had a big night with six wins including Album Of The Year. Childish Gambino had five nominations and took home a statue for Best Traditional R&B Performance. He performed “Terrified” but told the media later that he would be retiring the Gambino persona. Fans were dismayed that Sza did not take home any awards after having her breakout year and five nominations. She gave a performance of “Broken Clocks.” Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” seemed destined for recognition but Kendrick Lamar took both categories. See the full list of winners here.
