Lalah Hathaway’s Visual For Honestly Focuses On American Issues

Lalah Hathaway’s new album Honestly is coming out the first week of November. The video for the lead single features her singing while looking into the camera as images of  America’s issues with race and violence float by in the background. Honestly’s official date is November 3rd but you can pre-order the album now.


Heartstreets Drop Video For Kaytranada-Produced Single Blind

Montreal duo Heartstreets just released their video for the Kaytranada-produced “Blind.” Gab Godon and Emma Beko have been friends since they were children and last year saw the release of their You And I EP. “Blind” is the first time they have been heard from since 2016’s “Cruising With You.” The video for “Blind” comes across like an abstract film and there are shots of the duo mostly outdoors with horses and the men who ride them.


Bahamadia Releases Mobile Phone Produced Dialed Up 2

Four years ago Bahamadia made her first mobile-phone produced project called Dialed Up. She produced an almost 12-minute mix of music made with a production app used on her cellphone. Today she’s offering Dialed Up 2 created in the same way with appearances from Zion I, Geechi Suede of Camp Lo, Dave Ghetto and more. The new mix will keep fans busy with new music from her until the 2018 release of her fourth studio album HERE.
