Nile Rodgers has been in the music business for four decades and has had success as an artist, producer and writer. His band Chic sold millions of records and provided a seminal influence on dance music and hip-hop. Rodgers’ work on some of the biggest albums of the ’80s including Madonna’s Like A Virgin and David Bowie’s Let’s Dance were defining moments of the era. The collaboration with Daft Punk and Pharrell on the 2013 single “Get Lucky” earned him a Grammy and he was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
