J.Pinder’s Player Profile EP is the third in a trilogy that started earlier this with Any Day Now and Something You Wanted. The seven-song EP is the first time the rapper has put his singing on display. Pinder gained his experience as a rapper and producer working with a variety or artists including Marsha Ambrosius and Musiq Soulchild before Dr. Dre hired him to write songs for his Compton album. He took a five-year break from music to work on co-founding the Gyld music streaming service. The Player Profile EP finds the Seattle native blending R&B and hip-hop into a dreamy whole.
