Sophie Fiennes’ Bloodlight And Bami documentary about Grace Jones has a trailer. Jones is putting on her makeup in the clip and explains to the camera that she is “going tribal” for her look. “Bloodlight” means red light of the recording studio in patois and “bami” means bread. Fiennes shot the documentary over the course of 10 years and it promises to be an “unconventional” look at Jones. There is unseen footage of Jones performing “Pull Up To The Bumper” and other songs from her catalog. Bloodlight And Bami will debut in the UK on October 25th but there is no opening date yet for the United States.
