Funkmaster Flex Shares Never Heard Fugees Track

Funkmaster Flex debuted a never heard before song by The Fugees Saturday night on Hot97 and got their fans excited for a comeback. But as quickly as he aired the song that has lyrics about strife in the group Lauryn Hill clarified its origins on Twitter. Apparently, the trio improvised the untitled song during an experimental session in the studio. Hill made it known that the song was leaked and she had a good idea who did the deed. Funkmaster Flex just reminded listeners again on how eager fans are to see a Fugees reunion.

Blackalicious rapper The Gift Of Gab has released his new EP, Rejoice! Rappers Are Rapping Again. “Freedom Form Flowing” is a collaborative single with R.A. The Rugged Man and A-F-R-O. His reputation as a breathless multi-syllabic enunciator is fully present on the song that celebrates his craft.  The Rejoice! Rappers Are Rapping Again EP is music that fans can listen to while The Gift Of Gab prepares his fourth solo album. The Bay Area icon has made his new music available through the Patreon platform that uses a subscription model to help artists build revenue. Fans who sign up to become a Patreon supporter receive a variety perks including music, merchandise, concert tickets, and the opportunity to have your name and face on the new album. His new business model was born out of a five-year old diagnosis of kidney disease that has limited his ability to frequently tour. Sza Has A Dinner Party

Sza, her manager Terrence “Punch” Henderson, visual director Sage Adams, and college friends Amber and Leigh were the first people to participate in Vevo’s Dinner Party series last month. The Jersey native’s debut album CTRL came out last month and they talked about the journey into her artistry at the restaurant Sunday In Brooklyn. Sza opened up and shared her vulnerabilities as a new artist and despite being on one of the hottest rap labels humbly thanked everyone for their support and belief in her.
