Johnny Popcorn: Put Your Computer To Sleep Official Video

Hezekiah and Jani Coral of Johnny Popcorn want people to shut down their devices and go outside in their video for “Put Your Computer To Sleep.” The duo performs on a stage outside of Philadelphia’s City Hall and all kinds of people are there having fun. “Put Your Computer To Sleep” is from Johnny Popcorn’s Totem Pole album. Hezekiah is currently working on new music with Bilal and Tone Whitefield.

Terrace Martin Introduces The Pollyseeds Debuts Single Intentions

Terrace Martin has assembled a collective of musicians he calls The Pollyseeds. Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper and Rose Gold are among the artists in the group. Martin described the band in a press release as a mission;

“To honestly express yourself at a high level while paying homage, yet being current and innovating the times… is the Pollyseeds.”

 

“Intentions” featuring rapper Chaci who is also known as Problem is the first publicly-shared sound from their forthcoming Sounds Of Crenshaw Vol. 1. The album will be released July 14th and is available for pre-order.

Mary J. Blige Releases Video For Love Yourself With A$AP Rocky

Mary J. Blige released her video for “Love Yourself” today and A$AP Rocky has taken Kanye West’s place. West is on the album version of “Love Yourself” but A$AP Rocky appears in the video and adds his own verses. Blige holds court looking fabulous surrounded by men who look like modern day Black Panthers when she isn’t singing in the foyer or a mansion and on the street. Blige will tour her Strength Of A Woman album this summer with Lalah Hathaway as her special guest.

Charles Bradley Announces New Tour After Cancer Treatment

Charles Bradley has announced a new tour after taking time off for the treatment of cancer. Bradley was diagnosed with stomach cancer in October of 2016 and canceled remaining tour dates to deal with his health. He is back on the road tonight at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington. and will be for the rest of the summer. Bradley thanked his fans in his tour announcement.

“I am so grateful to my beautiful fans and touched by all the love and support they showed me through my crisis and time of sickness they truly lifted me up and kept me going. I am honoured and glad to be back and am going to give you all of my love.”

Listen To Avery Sunshine’s Heaven Is Right Here Feat. Mr. Talkbox

Avery Sunshine shares the steamy “Heaven Is Right Here” features Mr. Talkbox and was co-written with Eric Roberson. Mr. Talkbox, who is on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic album, is one of many guest artists on Twenty Sixty Four. Frank McComb, Keyon Harrold and pianist/arranger Ruslan Sirota all contribute to the Sunshine sound. Sunshine sums up “Heaven Is Right Here”;

“This song is a simple love song to remind everyone that when all in the world feels like hell, just find your way home and HEAVEN will be right there.”

Sunshine and her musical partner/husband Dana Johnson are currently touring their Twenty Sixty Four album.
