The Revolution: Mountains Live In NYC At B.B. King’s

The Revolution is currently touring the United States and revisiting their days with Prince. The shows have been well-received and fans already want a repeat tour because of the band’s magic that is still intact after all the years. The New York City crowd at B.B. King’s had a great time as can be seen in the video of them performing “Mountains” from Prince’s Under The Cherry Moon era. The band will be on tour through the summer and their show is a must-see for any Prince fan as it is the best way to move through the mourning process. Buy tickets to see The Revolution.

Throwback: Delegation-Oh Honey

British soul band Delegation was formed in 1975 with members Rickey Bailey, Roddy Harris and Len Coley. “Oh Honey” was their breakthrough single in 1977 after releasing a series of modestly successful singles. The song established their presence in the United States and gave them a one-hit wonder status despite further success in their native Great Britain. The band underwent personnel changes through the years and released five albums. “Oh Honey” reached classic R&B love song status long ago and continues to be heavily sampled by artists of all genres. Rickey Bailey introduced their newest single, “I Surrender” in 2013.
