Hugh Shares Silky Pop Single GO Before The Release Of Their Debut Album

London quartet Hugh has released “GO,” a new pop single co-written by group vocalist Izzy Brooks and Lauryn Hill. The streamlined track is a mix of digital and analog inspired by Brooks’ s meeting of a boy who made her feel like she was underwater. Brooks recalls that moment:

“I remember there was green light flooding in from the surface, my lungs hurt and the excitement was so heavy it almost felt like I couldn’t breathe. Though I knew I probably should have jumped out, I stayed down beneath the waves, facing this person who had this hypnotic hold over me – it was crazy.”

Hugh’s debut album, Love Hugh will come out May 24th.
