The Womack Sisters Bring The ’60’s Into The 2000’s With The Video For Darling

The Womack Sisters channel the ’60’s in the style and video for their debut single “Darling.” It is no coincidence that “Darling” is reminiscent of the late Sam Cook because Kucha, Zeimani and BG are his granddaughters. They are the children of Cecil and Linda Womack who are known for their 1983 hit, “Baby I’m Scared Of You.” The Womack Sisters are taking their family name into the 21st century with a style from the past that sounds refreshing because it is so different from the current trap-heavy scene. They are proof along with the recently passed Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley and Leon Bridges that the ’60’s soul blueprint is timeless.”Darling” is available from iTunes and they will go on a promotional tour later this year.
