Janelle Monae, Alicia Keys and Maxwell were a few of the artists who took the stage at the Women’s March On Washington in D.C. today. Monae shared her views about women and equality and performed “Hell You Talmbout” with Jidenna, St. Beauty and the mothers of Jordan Davis, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Mohamed Bah and Dontre Hamilton.

Alicia Keys recited Maya Angelou’s “Still I Rise” before going into a passionate performance of “Girl On Fire.” Keys spoke about inclusion and not allowing women’s bodies to be controlled by the government. Maxwell showed support for the march with a well-received rendition of Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work.”
