Olivier St. Louis Gives Preview Of New EP With Fall In Love

Olivier St. Louis formerly known as Oliver Daysoul is releasing his solo project in February. As Oliver Daysoul he became a close Oddisee collaborator and toured with him and others. “Fall In Love” is a single from his forthcoming Ever since the fall EP. St. Louis, Bibio and Oddisee produced and co-produced the six-song project. After the release of the EP, and tour dates with German band AnneMayKantereit he will join Oddisee for The Iceberg World Tour. Ever since the fall is available for pre-order from St. Louis’ Bandcamp site.

Solange talks to Hrishikesh Hirway of Song Exploder and tells the story behind “Cranes In The Sky.” A beat tape from Raphael Saadiq is what started the process and eventually become the finished creation that has helped lead Solange’s A Seat At The Table into the hearts of fans, critics and her first Grammy nomination.

Andy Suzuki & The Method Share I Can’t Live From The Glass Hour

The Brooklyn duo is going on a tour of the United States on February 10th after the release of The Glass Hour and tickets are on sale now.

Trailer For New Issa Rae Series Giants

Giants is a new series executive produced by  Issa Rae and Jussie Smollett.  James Bland created, directed and stars in the series with Vanessa Kelly and Sean Samuels.  The show is centered around a group of Millennials and the challenges they encounter trying to live on their own terms. The comedy premieres January 25th at 8PM EST on the Issa Rae Youtube channel.

Jamiroquai Tease New Music With Automaton Video Sample

Jamiroquai is releasing a new album in 2017 and you can see and hear a sample of it with this teaser for the “Automaton” video. There isn’t much information available about the new album but it’s been seven years since they were last heard from. Paul Turner, who is band’s bass player, did confirm a new album on Twitter but said they won’t be answering questions until everything is confirmed.
