Gregory Porter is having a concert at Detroit’s Music Hall January 29th at 7:30PM with Eric Roberson as the opening act. Porter’s fourth studio album, Take Me To The Alley, was released last year and has a Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album. The singer, who has become quickly identified by his quirky headwear, is the only contemporary jazz singer to bring R&B and blues into the genre and have a level of popularity that even finds his voice in dance music with UK duo Disclosure.
