Willow Smith’s debut album Ardipithecus came out today on Roc Nation and it’s an exploration of identity in sounds originating from the ’80’s and ’90’s alternative scene.

Saul Williams announced the release date of MartyrLoserKing today with the release of the single, “The Noise Came From Here.” If you pre-order MartyrLoserKing you can instantly download “The Noise Came From Here,” “Burundi” and “Horn Of The Clock Bike.” The album comes out January 29th on the Fader label. Williams released his poetry book U.S.(a) this past Fall




D’Angelo Receives Three Grammy Nominations & Announces New Tour Dates


D’Angelo’s Black Messiah was one of the best R&B albums of 2015 and an incredible comeback story. After a 15-year absence, the singer-songwriter and musician joined an elite group of artists including Sade, who have left music for long periods and returned without any disappointment to the fans and critics alike. Black Messiah’s political and love songs have been nominated for Record Of The Year, Best R&B Song (“Really Love”) and Best R&B Album. There are also 6 new tour dates in the Pacific Rim during the month of March.
