Adrian Younge-Sittin’ By The Radio Featuring Loren Oden

Adrian Younge’s “Sittin’ By The Radio” is from his upcoming Something About April II album. Four years ago, he released the first Something About April project and the new one is more of his vintage soul experiments with guest appearances from Bilal, Raphael Saadiq, Loren Oden, Laetitia Sadier and Karolina Avratz.

The Dirty Show 17: Detroit – Call For Erotic Art! Open Now! Deadline Dec. 15th


The world famous Detroit- born Erotic Art Exhibit, The Dirty Show is looking for submissions of all manner of erotic art for it’s 17th big year, to be submitted before the Deadline – Dec. 15, 2015.


The Exhibition Dates: Feb 12-20, 2016

Dirty Show 17 – Call For Erotic Art Requires….


 – This is an International Call for Erotic Art.

 – Artists are invited to submit recent Erotic Artwork in any medium and subject matter,  as long as it is EROTIC, and legal (created within the last 2 years).

 – All submissions must be of original design and personal execution.

– All artists must be at least 18 years of age.

– Photographers must keep signed model releases on file, stating their models were at least 18  years of age, and available at our request.

 – Artwork submitted to previous Dirty Show exhibitions will not be considered.

    – Exhibition: February 12 – 20, 2016, Detroit, Michigan. Attendance is not required to  participate.

– Exhibiting Artists are admitted to the exhibition at no charge on any night of their choosing.

K-Hand Boiler Room Detroit Set

K-Hand became the first woman to have a house/techno label when she started Acacia Records in 1990.  Since then she has released 7 studio albums and dozens of singles under her various monikers as well as music from other dance artists.  This year she released her Intuition EP and it is a three-song collection of her pure sound including a Tommy Largo remix of “Everybody.” Last month she delivered her first Boiler Room set in her Detroit hometown and you can watch The First Lady of Detroit Techno in the above video and click here for the full tracklisting.
