Run The Jewels Share Just Blaze’s Drum Kit Samples From The Early 2000’s


Run The Jewels recently released the remixes  of their 2014 Run The Jewels 2 album which utilized cat sounds. The project was done as a dare on Kickstarter and the band promised to make the album for $40,000 and donate all proceeds to the families of Michael Brown Jr. and Eric Garner. Several producers got involved in the remixes including Prince Paul, The Alchemist and Just Blaze. As an added bonus to the project, Just Blaze is giving away a download of his drum sample kit he used in the early 2000’s. Eryn Allen Kane Announces Aviary Act 1 EP

Eryn Allen Kane just announced her new Aviary Act 1 EP  and the single, “Bass Song.” The Aviary Act 2 EP will come out in early 2016. Kane has had a good year after providing vocals for Prince’s “Baltimore,” Chance The Rapper’s “Heaven Only Knows” and having her “Piano Song” heard on the TV show Being Mary Jane. The Chicago by way of Detroit native also has a role and a song in Spike Lee’s Chi-raq.


Joey Bada$$ Featuring Kiesza-Teach Me Official Video

Joey Bada$$ and Kiesza are in the middle of a troupe of dancers in New York City who are millennial b-boys and girls performing in the video for  “Teach Me.” The Pro Era rapper released his debut album, B4 Da $$ earlier this year. Rik Cordero directed the clip that features the Waffle Dance Crew and others.


Junglepussy-Pregnant With Success Album Stream

 Junglepussy’s Pregnant With Success is out now and she says it is a dedication to mothers and “to anyone who’s ever planted a seed, to anyone who’s ever created something, to anyone who’s ever waited patiently for something to come into fruition.” Shy Guy handles most of the production again and you can stream it before grabbing it at iTunes.
