Erykah Badu-Phone Down

“Phone Down” is an official leak from Erykah Badu’s upcoming But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape that will be available Thanksgiving weekend.  The phone reference is an obvious nod to her cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and the subject of her ’90’s hit, “Tyrone.” And she dedicates “Phone Down”  to Aubrey (Drake).


SATE-What Did I Do? On Exclaim TV!

Toronto rocker SATE performs “What Did I Do?” on Exclaim TV!  from her Red, Black and Blue EP trilogy. She’s currently working on the official video for the song and she has two shows this month in Montreal and Toronto.


Idris Elba To Open Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour In Berlin


Today Madonna announced Idris Elba will open for her at the Mercedes Benz arena during the Berlin stop on her Rebel Heart tour. Elba was a DJ before he became an actor and he has established yearly residencies at Ibiza. He’s currently preparing his Murdah Loves John album inspired by his role as TV detective John Luther. Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour is named after her current album and has a set list comprising her entire three- decade career, including signature tunes like “Get Into The Groove,” “Lucky Star,” “Everybody,” “Holiday” and “Dress You Up.” A full list of tour dates and ticket information can be found at:  http://www.madonna.com/tour.


Green Velvet & Claude Vonstroke Announce First U.S. Tour

Chicago house legend Green Velvet aka Cajmere and San Francisco by way of Detroit-based producer and DJ Claude Vonstroke are going on their first official tour after making a variety of past appearances together. The tour will serve as a launching pad for their new Get Real productions that will celebrate classic house and techno. Tickets can be purchased here.
