Q-Tip Sonos TV Commercial

Q-Tip’s  TV commercial for Sonos  features him and a neighborhood kid  comparing their music collections and Tip has vinyl while his young friend shows off his digital tunes on his phone. But it all comes together with the Sonos speaker system and app that allows them to control the sound wherever it streams.

Danny Brown Announces 2nd Annual Bruiser Thanksgiving + Pledge Drive



Danny Brown has announced his annual Bruiser Brigade Thanksgiving show, taking place at the historic Majestic Theater in Detroit November 25th. In celebration of the annual Thanksgiving show, Danny will be partnering with InsideOut Detroit’s City Wide Poets Project (CWP). Danny launched his own contribution page to help the Detroit Public School System and CWP and he will also be leading a city-wide poetry workshop for teens and young adults in conjunction with the show on November 25th. 

CWP is an award winning after-school poetry program dedicated to providing young Detroit authors and poets with mentorship from adult writers with strong publication and performance credentials. The cities aspiring young poets perform at numerous venues, have their work published in an anthology, receive awards for their poetry and compete to attend the Brave New Voices National Poetry Slam.

Murs-Mi Corazon Official Video

“Mi Corazon” is a Murs song about a man’s relationship with a half-Mexican and half-Salvadorean woman in California. The woman’s  gang member brother denounces the relationship because the man is African-American and he ends the video with violence in an attempt to stop the romance. “Mi Corazon” is from Murs’s Have A Nice Life on Strange Music.
